While growing up my most FAVORITE dessert was my Grandma Ryan’s strawberry rhubarb pie.  I looked forward to it every single year and was never disappointed.  She even started making an extra and allowing me to take it home for myself and my family.  Nothing compared to her rhubarb pie until my Mom made one, then my sister-in-law did.  Even though it isn’t quite the same a slice of rhubarb pie always brings back fond memories of my Grandma Ryan to this day.
