There is just something about having a dog as a part of your family. We were blessed with 5 at one time (3 from a litter of 7) that our son’s dog had in our home. Many years later we are in a time in our life for the first time in probably 20 years that we do not own a dog ourselves. Due to a fire in our home in early October of last year, we lost our last 2. Although we miss Lil’ Anne and Miley very much we are lucky to be temporarily living with our oldest son and his 2 children (ages 8 and 3 1/2 years old) along with their almost 2-year-old puppy Elli. She is an American Leopard Hound and is so very loving (sometimes almost too much). But she has helped mend our hearts a bit from losing our last 2 in the fire/due to the fire. One we lost in the fire and the other one two weeks later due to smoke inhalation.

Any movies that have dogs in them always tug at my heartstrings. Just like ‘A Dog’s Purpose’ that was on back in April of 2017.

On January 11th get to the movies and enjoy ‘A Dog’s Way Home’. It is about a dog named Bella that goes on a heartwarming adventure that spans 400-miles after she is separated from her human family. You will enjoy this chronological journey with Bella which is based on the book also titled “A Dog’s Way Home’.
