Infinity Stone Sugar Cookies

If you want to have a treat to go with your Avengers: Infinity War Movie, this might be exactly what you are looking for.
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 sticks butter (8 ounces) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl.
  2. Put butter and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer with the paddle attachment.
  3. Mix on medium speed until pale and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla. Reduce speed to low and mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add in the flour mixture and mix on low increasing the speed as needed.
  6. Add a little at a time and mix until combined.
  7. Divide dough into 6 equal portions.
  8. At this point, you can add the food color to your dough.
  9. Wrap each portion in plastic wrap. (or wax paper)
  10. Refrigerate until firm, at least one hour or overnight.
  11. Preheat oven to 325° F
  12. Let disk of dough stand at room temperature just until soft enough to roll, about 10 minutes.
  13. Cut out your Infinity Stone Shapes.
  14. Remove the excess dough and place the mat with the cutouts in the freezer until the dough is very firm about 15 minutes.
  15. Bake for 7-11 minutes. (we did 15 minutes)
  16. Baking times will vary so keep a close eye on them.
  17. Remove from oven and let them cool on wire racks. (or aluminum foil)
  18. Some of our balls were smaller than others so I think we ended up with about 3-4 dozen.
  19. How to Color Cookie Dough:
  20. Divide the cookie dough into 6 equal parts.
  21. Mix in the food gels of colors needed.
  22. Keep adding and mixing until you get the exact shade of the color you want.
  23. Use food Safe gloves or you might end up with rainbow colored hands.
