Get Ready for Second Act with Jennifer Lopez 3.26

Disclosure:  I received a copy in order to complete my review.  All opinions are my own.

Although I went to college, I never finished my four-year degree.  I went away to school for psychology but felt it was more important to stop after my Freshman year and go home so I could eventually get married.  I did go to a business institute for physician’s assistant and passed with high honors, but only used it once.  Looking back if I would have taken my “second act” I would have gone to school for animation/film/media.  Now that I am 50 I really do not see me trekking back to school but if I did, that is what I would pursue.

Maya’s character isn’t uncommon.  Some have book smarts, while others are more street savvy.  Never the less this movie showed me that you never want to count out your second chance at ANYTHING.  I was fighting for Maya much of the time….as there were times that Jennifer Lopez’s character felt like an underdog.  But also in saying that her character also showed me that we never want to give up.  That to me made the movie very inspiring and made me want to do more in my own life and own it.

About Second Act
