Madame Tussauds Wax Museum #IronMan3Event: My Adventure

While in LA (I seem to start all of my posts from the #IronMan3Event that way-have you noticed? ) We were lucky to be able to visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. I have never been to a wax museum so this was really a treat for me.

It is amazing how real the wax figures look. So real I kept ducking in front of one that was taking a photo-because I thought I had walked in front of a real person!

From sports figures, to movie characters or your favorite Hollywood icons. There is bound to be someone you would love to take your picture with or take their picture just to have.

The first one I noticed was George Clooney, he was my favorite doctor when ER first came out…

It is amazing the time it takes to make a wax figure. Looking at each one you can see why with all of the details down to Angelina Jolie’s tattoos being on her figure.

I had to show you this close-up of Brad Pitt.. I stared directly into his eyes and was SURE his eyeballs were looking back at me. Even his facial stubble was there.. I just was amazed at the detail.

Many millions  of people have flocked through the doors of Madame Tussauds across the world since they opened over 200 years ago and it remains just as popular as it ever was. There are many reasons for this enduring success, but at the heart of it all is good, old-fashioned curiosity.

Madame Tussauds also has props so that you can ‘interact, so to speak with the characters’ I enjoyed this one as it reminded me when I was a kid and Alfred Hitchcock was always a favorite in our house. Can you see me?

One of my favorite parts of the wax museum was watching my ‘new friends’ enjoy the props and fun. I might have to do a second post to include the rest of the pictures.. We shall see. Until then I am posting this last picture and I ask… Wax Figure OR Not?
