Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMA). Fans all around the world are invited to vote for their favorite artists in categories including
“The Bestest – Song
of the Year,” “The Buzz – Breakout Artist of the Year” and “That’s My Jam – Best Anthem.” Last year over 10
million votes were tallied on the Radio Disney app and
social platforms, including more than five million votes from international fans.
The moment of surprise for recording artists Meghan Trainor, Fall Out Boy, DNCE,
Alessia Cara, Kelsea Ballerini and Daya, as each first learns of their RDMA nomination,
will be seen in fun shorts as part of “#Oh My ARDY“ weekend beginning FRIDAY,

The 2016 ![]()
Radio Disney Music Awards, music‘s biggest event for families, is set for
Saturday, April 30 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The show will feature
performances by some of the biggest artists along with tomorrow’s rising stars in music
and the presentation of the uniquely Radio Disney “ARDY” statuette winners, as voted
on by fans globally.
The special two-hour telecast, “Disney Channel Presents the 2016
Radio Disney Music Awards,” will be presented Sunday, May 1 (7:00-9:00 p.m. EDT)
on Disney Channel in the U.S. and thereafter, in 159 countries. Highlights will also be
available on Radio Disney, the Radio Disney App, the Disney Channel app and
