I was so excited when I heard that Will & Grace were coming back with the original cast. Back in 1998, the plot of Will & Grace was in my opinion very ahead of its time. Even my daughter at 20 years old said the same thing when I got her to watch it with me a summer or so ago. But I loved it! I loved the friendship between Will & Grace, Jack’s zany ways, and how Karen got through her “days” with her mix of alcohol and pills. It was a great series and I was very sad when it went off the air.
When I heard it was coming back I was a bit nervous as you know that 20 years is a long time to be off of a show. The climates have changed a lot, but I was thinking it has to be better, right? Seconds into the first episode I was like YES, they are back!! I looked forward to it every week.
Jack is still funny, Will & Grace are still their co-dependant selves and Karen, well Karen is still Karen. I will mention that Will, Grace & Jack are not for Trump, and Karen is for him and that I kind of expected that. But it is just funny to hear them go back and forth. I think another reason I am enjoying it is that age-wise they are kind of in my age range and so now their lives are based on their late 40s? the early 50s.
