Just about everyone loves a happily ever after book or movie. This movie is no different with its elegant reverse Cinderella story which is written about true events that visit the celebration of the end of WWII during 1945 in Europe where Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret leave the confines of Buckingham Palace. They venture out into London for a whirlwind of adventure.
From the start of the movie until the end I couldn’t stop to even take a break, otherwise, I would have wondered what was coming up next. I loved how the movie had the feel of the 1940s and the experiences that the two princesses had were so much fun. But what they didn’t count on was the unexpected things such as money that they needed while on their adventures. Thankfully this lively duo found a friend to help them out, and they got more than they expected in many situations.
When you think of the “Royals” you always imagine expansive castles, long tables where everyone sits quietly for dinner. But in the real world, even Princess’s have real world problems and obstacles.
You can even download the movie digitally so you can take it whenever you travel or to share with a friend so that your movie is safely tucked away at my house. (I can’t be lending it out and not have it at my house if I want to watch it.)
A Royal Night Out has film stars Emily Watson (Corpse Bride), Rupert Everett (Shrek The Third, Shrek 2), Sarah Gadon (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) and Bel Powley – Winner of Hamptons International Film Festival “Breakthrough Performer” for her role in this film.
