Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Peace by Becky Monson Book Analysis
Becky Monson is truly a talented writer. The way she kept me guessing from start to finish was one major importance for me when I am reading a book. I haven’t really been a chick lit reader, I am more of the mystery type. After reading Becky’s book she has gained another Becky on her side.
Brigette is the main character who looks like she has her life together, everything is running smoothly until a past love shows up in her life. You know that one that got away and makes you question the ‘what-ifs’? The one that although you are happy with your current relationship makes you envision what life might have been if you had in fact continued in that relationship.
The cast of characters play off each other well with their different personalities. This creates wonderful tension, some moments are about being silly and happy, while others left me wanting to welcome Bridgette into a big loving hug. Her grandma and silly friends were quite a group. With the help of her grandma, a big crazy Italian family and her two best friends Bridgette is able to find herself.
Without entering any spoilers, I will just say that this is one book that is worth taking the time to enjoy.

About the author:
By day, Becky Monson is a mother to three young children, and a wife. By night, she escapes with reading books and writing. In her debut novel, Becky uses humor and true-life experiences to bring her characters to life. She loves all things chick-lit (movies, books, etc.), and wishes she had a British accent. She has recently given up Diet Coke for the fiftieth time and is hopeful this time will last… but it probably won’t.
