Strange Magic DVD Movie Feedback
Strange Magic DVD Movie feedback
If I watched this as a child I would find it full of pixie size action with humor intertwined. The animation is detailed and definitely makes it fun to watch.
As an adult? The music was awesome. You will want to realize this is like an animated musical as there is a lot of singing. It fit well with the storyline. The songs included:
- I’ll Never Fall in Love Again
- I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)
- C’mon Marianne
- Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)
- Love Is Strange
- Rifts from “People are Strange”
- I Can’t Help Myself
- Straight On (Heart)
- Strange Magic
- Wild Thing
The story somewhat reminded me of Beauty and the Beast. Kind of like an unexpected pairing with a story how they find one another. It is a magical adventure with many colorful characters. With a princess that has decided she doesn’t need love, the normal ‘villain’ (that has a heart that just seems to need love), a Sugar Plum Fairy that seems a bit off its rocker. There is also a fun little elf that makes you giggle, and lastly a knight who is definitely not your Prince Charming.
