The Legend of Longwood DVD Review
This movie is set in the rural, beautifully landscaped Ireland. With a magical quest, a frightening man on a black horse, disheveled castles enters a spunky 12-year-old Mickey from New York. Unhappy that her Mom, her brother and herself have to move so far away; she keeps waiting for her Dad to come back, (after 4 years). Before leaving New York her she is riding her horse and her horse gets hurt after jumping over a canoe. This makes it even harder leaving.
When they arrive in Longwood it is at the same time that the Black Knight resurfaces. Known as a legendary ruler, it is thought that bad luck/evil follows with him. Mickey finds out she is linked directly to the story of the Black Knight. Mickey, her new found friend Sean and Silver (the horse that has been the most horrible to train) go to redeem the knight. Before that she is making it her mission to save a herd of white horses along with trying to proof that one of the women is not only greedy but proving to be a big handful.
I really enjoyed watching this DVD and it will be coming out June 2, 2015, so you can pre-order it on Amazon.
