The Posse by Tawdra Kandle Review
“What U Talking Bout Willis?”… I give this 2 hands up because 2 thumbs just isn’t enough!
From the moment I picked up this book, I didn’t want to put it down. It immediately captured my mind and kept me wanting more. Instantly I was connected to the main character Jude. After losing her husband and having to run the family business herself, she just didn’t envision her life at 44 to be that of a widow and mother of 2 almost grown children. When her husbands 3 best friends get together they decide to see who can win over her affections by being there whenever needed. Jude’s character is easy to love and you want her to have a loving relationship. Tawdra did an excellent job making you feel like you were right there with them as a part of the story. When I wasn’t reading; I was wondering what the characters were up to….for me that is when a book is “that good”!
If you want to read a book that will keep you from beginning to end, and routing for the main character. This book is for you. Tawdra’s writing style is one that flows throughout the book and makes you look forward to whatever is next in line. I strongly recommend this book to anyone that has loved and lost someone in their life. This story will show you that life in fact does go on.
