Week 4: My #NSNation Journey; What 16.8 Pounds Looks Like
I have now been on NutriSystem for a month now. I have to say I am proud of how far I have come. My weigh-in this week shows I have lost 16.8 pounds, which doesn’t seem too bad in one month. I haven’t had to starve myself, and have been able to enjoy meals that honestly I wouldn’t make for myself since I eat alone on weekdays. I also did a second set of measurement and have lost 7.75 inches. I may have lost more than that but it didn’t come to me to measure when I first started.
To put it into perspective I found a picture of what 16 pounds looks like in butter.
I was going to do 16 pounds of fat, but I just couldn’t bring myself to post that on my site. [insert smile].
I also haven’t been able to exercise like I had hoped. Since I have DDD (degenerative disc disease) of my lower back and neck, I can’t always exercise. I was riding my stationary bike over a week ago and the next morning I couldn’t stand to sit down or stand, let alone bend over. So for now I am just going to follow the plan and keep doing what I am doing.
