THE 9TH LIFE OF LOUIS DRAX – Starring Jamie Dornan, Aaron Paul 2/7
Disclosure: I received a copy of the movie below in order to facilitate my review, all opinions are my own.
When I started watching The 9th Life of Louis Drax I wasn’t quite sure what I got myself into. I kept thinking, “I am not so sure about this movie”, but I kept watching because I am a big fan of Aaron Paul and I felt if he was in it, there had to be something to it. Then his character disappeared and I was left to keep going to see where the movie was headed.
Louis Drax has escaped death 8 times before his 9th birthday and that is when he has a terrible accident that all seems to unravel. The character of Louis is like a child combined with a smart alec kid. He is blunt and not afraid to say what he feels. This can at times catch you by surprise but his psychologist handles him very well.
Without spoiling anything you are going to have to give it a chance to reap the rewards of the outcome. I struggled for a bit but it made it all worth it in the end. Make sure you get your hands on a copy of “The 9th Life of Louis Drax”, coming soon!
