Are you a CBD aficionado who wants to find out everything there is to know about this compound? Here are the different types of CBD products that exist today.
It’s no secret that CBD has myriad health benefits, but how should you take it?
There are so many products on the market today, so it can be difficult to decide on the best types of CBD for you. Around one in seven US adults use CBD, so if you’re thinking about joining them, keep reading through our list!
Oils and Tinctures
These are liquids infused with CBD – you simply use the dropper to place a small amount of the liquid under your tongue, where it can be absorbed easily. Particularly if you can’t take pills or capsules, these can be great.
Perhaps the most common CBD product out there, they’re often incredibly pure as little needs to be done to the CBD by the manufacturer. However, the taste isn’t for everyone, and it can be a little messy if you’re not steady. Oils can also vary in strength considerably, so be sure to choose a bottle that’s suitable for you.
If anything, taking capsules is even easier than taking oils. Perhaps you already take vitamins or supplements each day – you’ll hardly notice another one added to your daily dose. Often, capsules will contain around 10-25mg of CBD, but stronger products are available.
You might choose to take capsules alongside other CBD products – just swallow them with water, and you won’t go far wrong. They don’t need to be refrigerated either, so you can keep them wherever you like!
Topicals and Creams
Yes, these are yet another option. CBD can be applied through creams, balms, lotions, and more. They can assist you with managing localized pain, and they can be used alongside other different forms of CBD too. Just apply them directly to the area of your body requiring the CBD and you’re good to go.
Gummies and Edibles
Who doesn’t enjoy candy? CBD gummies and other edibles are increasing in popularity, and it’s easy to see why. However, there are differences between gummies.
Check the sugar content, and look out for animal products in the ingredients if you follow a vegetarian or vegan diet. They vary widely in quality too.
Some cheaper gummies just have CBD sprayed on their exterior, while higher-quality, more expensive gummies have more CBD throughout, and may taste more of hemp than their cheaper counterparts.
Be honest – did CBD water spring to your mind? Believe it or not, you can now buy CBD water to get the benefits of both CBD and water in one simple drink!
Although you can use alternative CBD products, it’s simple and easy to replace a few glasses of the water you usually drink each day with some H2O that has CBD mixed into it.
You should drink CBD water around twice a day, and swish the liquid around your mouth before swallowing. Other than that, you can go right ahead and get drinking!
