Here Comes Peter Cottontail DVD Review

Although Easter has already passed this year, there is always room for Peter Cottontail. This loveable bunny shouldn’t have to be watched only at one time of the year.
This treasure very seldom shown on television, perhaps on Freeform but certainly not aired repeatedly during the season. Vincent Price is delightful as Evil Irontail. The legendary Danny Kaye as Seymour S. Sassafrass sings and is his witty self. Casey Kasem plays Peter Cottontail and his voice is perfect for the character. Kids and adults will enjoy.
Watching this took me back to when I was a child and I would eagerly wait until the special was aired! Now I can share this with my grandchildren and they will not have to wait until it airs on the television. This classic is definitely one to own! It also includes a bonus feature of Peter Cottontail: The Movie.
Synopsis:
It is time to choose the next chief Easter Bunny, and Peter Cottontail really wants the job. Everyone in April Valley agrees he’s the best bunny for it, but someone else wants the top spot too. When Evil Irontail’s terrible plans threaten to ruin the holiday for children everywhere, it’s up to Peter to restore the true magic of Easter.
