I never realized how much backpacks are needed in our everyday life. Whether it is taking our computers with us when we go from location to location or when we travel. The backpack I am going to tell you about today is the Swissgear 5625 Getaway Weekend Backpack. You will love the look of this Swissgear backpack. In heather gray, it looks nicer than the average backpack with room for your laptop (if it is 15″ or less).
What I love most about the Swissgear Getaway Backpack
You will notice that this backpack has a padded laptop area which like I mentioned above will fit most 15″ notebooks/laptops. The main area features a compartment for clothing and has a mesh zippered divider. With the ergonomic contoured, padded shoulder straps that have breathable mesh fabric and web loop, you will enjoy just how comfortable it is to carry this backpack on your shoulders. You will enjoy not only the comfort but ease of use. The padded back panel with airflow and mesh fabric is awesome for great ventilation and support. You are less apt to have a sweaty back which is always a plus.
One of the best things I loved about this backpack is the ability to use the “add-a-bag” feature. This feature allows you to slide the bag over the extended handle of wheeled luggage. I found the organizer compartment ideal as it has multiple divider pockets which enables you to put your driver’s license/passport, mobile phone and other items like medicines that you need to keep with you while on your trip.
The top quick-access pocket is fleece-lined and easy to get into and out of. There is also a hidden pocket on the side if you need to tuck away keys or money. You will feel at ease knowing a person won’t immediately find what you tucked away. If you enjoy toting water you will love the side elastic water bottle pocket. I have found it to be very convenient.
You will also notice that the durability of this backpack can’t be beaten. The top and side handle help for ease of lifting. The side compression straps are excellent to keep your backpack contents from shifting while in route to your destination. They thought of everything when they made this backpack as they have an inside slip pocket as well as a mesh zippered pocket to give you even more organization to your packing.
One other fun thing about this backpack is the pin-striped lining on the inside in black/white. Which matches the backpack perfectly.
