German Weather Houses are a Unique Gift for Mom this Mother’s Day

Disclosure:ย I received one of Cuckoo Forest’s German weather houses in order to facilitate my review.ย All opinions are my own.
I was so excited when I was asked if I would like to get a weather houseย from Cuckoo Forest I was definitely intrigued.ย When I was little my Grandpa and Grandma Ryan had a cuckoo clock in their living room.ย Seeing these brought back such happy memories of times spent with my grandparents at their house.ย You always knew what time it was when the clock went off, and I remember watching the cuckoo come out.ย For me, the weather house is as close as I have been to having something that reminds me of just a part of being with my grandparents when I was a child.ย Although there is no cuckoo with these, they are still very neat and will bring back days gone by for anyone that has memories of a cuckoo clock from when they were growing up.
These weather houses are a Deluxe weather house with a thermometer – on fair and dry days the woman comes out and on damp and rainy days the man comes out. They are made in Germany.ย When I was taking pictures the man was out which told me he knew exactly what our weather was out today.ย It has been damp and the threat of rain has been forecasted for today.ย I look forward to when we have a dry or fair day and see the woman come out of the house.ย You should be able to see her in there.
They have a small selection of German weather houses so this isn’t the only type available.ย You can see more here.ย You will also see they have a wide variety of Nutcrackers if you know someone that collects them, these will also make a perfect gift.ย View their German Nutcrackers here.
If you are in the market for a Cuckoo clock then the Cuckoo Forest is the place to shop.ย They have clocks on sale and they ship within 48 hours.ย Possibly I will get myself my own cuckoo clock eventually to go with my weather house.
