Monica decides to move across the country from Pennsylvania to southern California, where she hopes to bring more healing messages of love and hope from Spirit, on the season premiere of “Monica the Medium,” airing on MONDAY, APRIL 25 at 10/9c on Freeform.
After spending the summer in California, Monica decides to take the plunge and move to San Diego permanently. Not wanting to be apart from her best friend, she invites Krista to join her. The girls make the long drive with puppy Luna in tow.
Monica is initially worried that the west coast may not have as many people open to her gift as back east, but on the way to their new place, she meets a family at a truck stop, where she brings words of comfort to a widow and her sons.
Once the girls arrive and settle into their new home, they decide to go check out the nightlife. Monica is immediately drawn to a couple who receive reassuring messages from the boyfriend’s mother.
Later, Monica and Krista head to MiraCosta College to look into enrolling in classes, where Monica can’t help but pass a message along to the campus tour guide.
Finally, the girls make a point of stopping at the beach and enjoying the sun set with their toes in the sand, which leads Monica to talk to siblings about their dearly departed father and brother.
