Wife, mother, grandma, blogger, all wrapped into one person, although it does not define her these are roles that are important to her. From empty nesters to living with our oldest and 2 grandchildren while our house is rebuilt after a house fire in 10/2018 my life is something new each day.

I start off the day with a mostly green breakfast: Green pancakes, spinach leaves, green grapes, cucumber, and a mint smoothie. My husband makes corn beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes in the crock pot. Then I put green dye in the toilet to say that a Leprechaun peed in the toilet.

There is always a parade downtown. Lots of the buisiness there sponsor this. They are heavy into St Patty Day, since many families come from there years ago. Bars has special parties *green bear and all. But we avoid those, not a party person. Might made corn beef and cabbage for dinner.

I just eat the corn beef and cabbage. I’m the only one that eats it so I end up eating it for a while. Yummy.

I used to make corned beef and cabbage and boiled little red potatoes. Yum! Now it’s just my husband and myself so we go out to eat this same meal.

I always make corned beef for St. Patrick’s Day. I also find a cute festive treat or dessert recipe to make with my daughters. I also pretend that a lepracaun visited my house by making a trail of chocolate gold coins and glitter. I also put green food dye in my daughter’s toilet and water cup. My little girls get so excited for this.
