There are many reasons to stay put and renovate your current house. It may be that your kids are in school, and you don’t want to have to relocate them and change. There is the possibility of renovating if your needs are not too complicated. For instance, if you really want a modern open concept for your house, then you could likely tear a few walls down and make it that way without buying a brand new home. 

There are a number of upgrades that will make your home more comfortable such as renovating and updating your kitchen and bathrooms. You’ll end up saving a lot of money and adding value to your home as a result.
