You Won’t See it Coming in The Silent Sounds of Chaos –Review
I can only count a handful of times that a book has grabbed a hold of me and wouldn’t let me go.
The Silent Sounds of Chaos is one of those books.
When I was a child I used to talk to myself, well inside of my head but the only one that answered was me, inside my head. How many times I could have used someone like Snow or Finn to answer me back. But my troubles weren’t anywhere near the troubles that were faced during this book.
While reading this book I was reminded by what pulled me into the story instantly was reading about it on Amazon. I love to read but recently I do not seem to have the time I would like to do so. I am very glad that I made an exception for this one, because it was well worth the time! There were parts where I just couldn’t put it down as I had to know what was going to happen next. Then there were the times it made me feel emotional and I had to put it down and walk away for a bit. Child abuse always hits me hard, mainly because I know it exists and it tears at my heart apart knowing there are kids that have to live that way. Finn’s character was no different for me. I loved that he had Snow to ‘talk to in his head’, and that Snow could ‘hear’ him and respond. I think part of their relationship is what kept the two of them going.
I don’t want to spoil anything for you but you need to take the time to read this one!
Kristina Circelli is a wonderful writer and brings everything to this story. I am so overwhelmed at her writing and how she took this story then gave it an ending that you will not be expecting. For now, I will think of her as the “Queen of a Twisted Ending” until I read another that gets to me as this one did. You can purchase The Silent Sounds of Chaos on paperback on Amazon or the Silent Sounds of Chaos on eBook.
I just know you will truly enjoy The Silent Sounds of Chaos!
