We are currently having our house rebuilt after we suffered a total loss of our home back on October 12, 2018, due to a fire. So you can only imagine these past 10+ months we have been keeping our eyes open for furniture and appliances. You never realize how hard it is to make all of these brand new decisions. Mainly for us because much of our home items were hand-me-downs, or we bought them used.
One item we happened to go through twice before the fire was a dishwasher. The realtor had shown us that the one that came with the house worked when it all actuality it only worked maybe twice after we moved in. Then my sister gave us their used one when they upgraded which lasted a good 2 years or more. There are at least 6 reasons I would love to have this exact model in our new home which I will share with you below.

To start off I love that the Bosch 500 series has a 24-inch width. Can you believe it has room for 16 place settings? I have never had a dishwasher that could fit so many dishes. With this dishwasher when the family comes over we will only have to load it once to fit everything in it.
This also includes 5 wash cycles which also gives you five-level wash, 5 options like Extra Dry and a heating element that is not exposed.
44-dBA noise level rating
With our new home layout, our kitchen and living room will be open. This means that it is important that our appliances are not noisy. Since this dishwasher has the 44-dBA noise level rating we will not have to have our TV battle with any noises coming from the dishwasher. The 44-dBA incorporates 18 unique sound-reducing technologies such as multiple insulation layers, grindless food filtration, and a sound-absorbing base.
Protects Your Kitchen floors
The 24/7 Aquastop® could also be named the “kitchen floor lifesaver”. As you know the unexpected happens so if the dishwasher for some reason were to start leaking it has you covered. This sensor helps detect and stop leaks and will turn on this protection all by itself. With the 4 part leak protection this dishwasher almost deserves its own name like “Boss” or something cool.
