After my son goes to bed, I love to unwind by watching my “mommy” show. I’ve recently started watching Divorce: Season One with Sarah Jessica Parker as my mommy show, and I love it! I can’t believe how hilarious yet emotional this TV show is. Here are a few things I liked about Divorce: Season One.
It’s Funny
Despite the solemn topic of this TV series, Divorce is actually quite funny. Sarah Jessica Parker and Thomas Haden Church have a great relationship on screen and their back and forth arguments make me laugh every time.
It’s Real Life
Divorce happens all the time. This TV show does a great job of showing how hard it can be to start over. I love that it shows real life problems. It shows both problems that can be solved, as well as problems that can’t be solved.
It Has Sarah Jessica Parker
Sarah Jessica Parker did a phenomenal job playing the main character in Divorce: Season One. She did so well with this roll that I can’t imagine any other actress having been considered for the part. She did so amazing that she earned a Golden Globe nomination!
If you’re a mom on the lookout for a TV show you can watch after the kids go to bed, then you need to put Divorce: Season One on your list. It’s sure to become one of your favorites.
