Wee Squeak® Ruffle Sandal Analysis
In 2005, Wee Squeak started making shoes, sandals and boots that included a squeaker in the sole under the child’s foot. When a child walked in heel-to-toe fashion, the shoes squeak to show the child was walking correctly. The squeaker is easy to remove when there is a need for quiet walking.
I picked out the sandal in the picture above for my 4-year-old granddaughter because they were stylish enough for her to want to wear. They also allow comfort for her busy play. When she first put them on and stood up, they didn’t initially squeak until she started walking. The look on her face was priceless and she started walking all around the house. Her Mom said they would be neat to have when they were at home so she knew right where she was in the house. I told her Mom, the park would be awesome also, but most likely not school, and she agreed.
On the Wee-Squeak website, they have a Sizing Chart page which is very helpful in determining what size is best for your child. There is even a printable measuring chart, so you can be sure of the size you are needing. Gift Cards are available for purchase if you would rather, and with many colors and styles available the ‘giftee’ is sure to find something that is perfect!
