With summer in full swing, you are probably looking for great games for the family to play outside.  You can look no further than Starlux games for your summer fun.  When the day cools down toward evening time and the moon is out, break out Wizards and Werewolves for some fun!

That’s the goal of the series of games reimagined from Starlux Games. Bringing back the classic games that many parents grew up with, but adding elements of strategy and teamwork, these group games get everyone glowing… literally! That’s because every game set comes with glow-in-the-dark accessories, adding a fun twist to the action! In addition to Capture the Flag and Glow Battle, Starlux Games is releasing their newest game, Wizards and Werewolves, just in time for summer.

Wizards and WerewolvesAbout Wizards and Werewolves

The latest game being released is a heart-pounding outdoor group game that brings family favorite fantasy books, movies and board games to life. Instead of having each of the family sitting in one room on their electronic devices they will be outside playing just like you did when you were a kid.  Do you remember when parents had to beg us to get inside for the night?
In this epic backyard battle between two mythical forces, 4-10 players ages 8+ can enjoy a fast-paced evening of glow-in-the-dark fun while using their wits and skills to win the night.
Join the Wizards team and you complete a mission. Join the Werewolves and you complete another.

Included in Wizards and Werewolves

Each game kit includes three levels of play, from simple to complex. Work your way up over time, from the Search for the Moon Crystals (level A) but be careful not to be bitten (tagged) by the Alpha Werewolf, or he’ll have you howling at the moon!

With each level, the game gets more complicated and the abilities each player has grows. Whether Wizard or Werewolf, you can hide, hunt and run your way to a great time!

This game is terrific for family get-togethers, birthday parties, family reunions, block parties and even just with a bunch of friends.
And if you need another good reason, how about what the World Health Organization has to say about active play: “What we really need to do is bring back play for children,” Dr. Juana Willumsen, who works on childhood obesity issues at the W.H.O., said in a statement. “This is about making the shift from sedentary time to playtime, while protecting sleep.”
Active play is about more than running around getting exercise: it’s about interacting with others and building on skills including cooperation, creativity, strategy, and critical thinking, but all done in a fun, engaging way that everyone, of any age, can enjoy.  You will see your kids using their imagination as well as their ability to come together as a team.
An evening spent with the family and friends playing a game like Wizards and Werewolves is a memory that will last a lot longer than any time spent staring at a tiny screen. They are video games come to life… real life, that is!  No one will remember memories made with a pad, but they will remember that time they got out and created memories with their friends and family for years to come.

Two wonderful benefits of ordering via Starlux games is their FREE shipping and returns.  (returns we aren’t worried about but it is always great to have that peace of mind.)
