5 Reasons Why Captain Marvel is Better than Super Woman: Coming to Blu-ray 6.11

Disclosure:  I received a copy of Captain Marvel in order to facilitate my review.  All opinions are my own.

Here are 5 Reasons why I feel Captain Marvel is better than Super Woman.

1. Captain Marvel doesn’t have to wear hardly any clothes when she is in her superhero uniform to get a guy’s attention.  They will be impressed with her smarts and wit.
2. Captain Marvel has supernatural powers like the ability to shoot concussive energy bursts from her fingertips, super speed like 6 times the speed of sound, durability and super strength.  Wonder Woman (and I know her powers are from back before these things were thought about) has the lasso of truth, indestructible bracelets, and a tiara which is used as a projectile.  To me now Captain Marvel seems more fierce than Super Woman since they haven’t updated her powers.
3. Captain Marvel seems more genuinely fun, whereas Wonder Woman always seemed a little stiff.  Maybe her bodice was too tight for her to be able to relax. (insert smile)
4. Although Wonder Woman was one of the originals in the DC comics, Captain Marvel is off taking care of other planets while the Avengers were taking care of the rest.  I felt this was a big job for her on her own and shows that she is a strong person.
5. Any little girl can try to be like Captain Marvel, whereas trying to be Super Woman would be harder since she was formed from clay.  Captain Marvel shows that she was a flight pilot originally and shows it is ‘cool’ to be smart.

So these are the 5 Reasons I feel why Captain Marvel is better.

Captain Marvel Coming to Blu-ray 6.11.2019

I have been so excited about Captain Marvel coming out since I first heard it was going to be released.  I love that Brie Larson is the actor behind this great character.

Although little girls aren’t necessarily growing up wanting to become a ‘superhero’, I think it is important that girls can have role models of women that are strong and tough when they have to be.

Oh, and Samuel L Jackson is in this one too! I have always loved Samuel L Jackson but after interviewing him a year ago in June, I love him even more. The way Nick Fury and Captain Marvel are in the movie makes you just love both of their characters even more.  So be ready because before you know it June 11, 2019, will be here and you know where I will be, watching Captain Marvel again on my Blu-ray.
