Meet the Hugglemonsters on DVD Review
Disclosure: I did receive a copy of “Meet the Hugglemonsters” in order to facilitate my review, all opinons are 100% my own and are not influenced by receiving this copy.
When I was offered to review “Meet the Hugglemonsters”, which comes out today! on DVD. I was very excited to share viewing it with my 3-year-old granddaughter. She enjoys many shows on Disney Junior and I felt this one would be no different.
Henry is such a cute character and his family is exciting to watch. She was mesmerized with the animation, colors and the stories. When one would end she would say “more Grandma?” and I would say “Yes, just a minute another one is coming on. This DVD included iron-on transfers for more than one t-shirt.
There are many characters involved each with their own personalities. Henry along with his fun grandparents, older brother Cobby, sister Summer, baby brother Ivor, and a cast full of brightly colored monsters, Henry takes in all the enjoyment and obstacles of becoming older. He is great at helping his sister put on a show, setting up a hugglejuice stand or entering his monsterdog Beckett in a pet pageant, he’s always looking for new ways to be the best monster, friend, and older brother he can be . Packed with over two hours of song-filled fun, teamwork, and adventure.
This show is sure to continue to be a hit with any child that enjoys dancing, songs and fun. Disney Junior knocks this one, along with many others out of the park when it comes to fun, learning and being a good citizen. I also have to admit I got a kick out of his Grandfather’s beard. It reminded me of the older mop head strings hanging from his face.
When I asked my granddaughter what she thought after it was over; her picture tells you exactly her answer:
She wanted to give 2 thumbs up, but then she couldn’t hold the DVD. I would recommend this DVD to anyone that has a child that enjoys Disney Junior episodes. It also contains a bonus episode-which you will have to watch to see which upcoming show it is. This DVD is 144 minutes of song, dance (which includes 6 episodes) and more. We really enjoyed it together!
