MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE: MINNIE-RELLA DVD Review
MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE: MINNIE-RELLA DVD Review
When I was given the opportunity to review MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE: Minnie-Rella DVD; I was BEYOND excited! Why you ask would a 45 year old woman be excited to watch a Mickey Mouse Club DVD? I will tell you why—- it is that beautiful, giggly, little three-year-old granddaughter you see pictured above. There was one thing I learned quickly when I met her this past May and that is she lovvvvesssss Mickey and Minnie Mouse. So getting this DVD to review, as you can tell, was exciting for me to watch with her.
The Minnie-Rella DVD comes with a little cardboard castle, that you can put together with your child. For us, Emma watched the DVD while I put together the castle. If your child is a bit older, it makes a really cute decoration for their dresser or on a table. You can see how mine turned out below.
This DVD of Mickey Mouse Club’s Minni-rella is based off of the ‘Cinderella’ story as you can tell by the title. This is the first episode on the DVD of four along with 10 Minnie’s Bow-Toon Shorts that’ll surely be a sweet treat this Valentine’s Day.
Synopsis: Our pals need to get Minnie a surprise present, so they keep her busy with plenty of chores to do at the Clubhouse. Tired from so much work, Minnie falls asleep and dreams that she is MINNIE-RELLA! Inspired by the fairy tale of Cinderella, the story of Minnie-rella sparkles with music and fun as we recognize our favorite Clubhouse characters in familiar roles.
Emma enjoyed this DVD so much, it was the first thing she asked to watch when she woke up this morning. This is after she watched it twice last night. “Minnie-rella” she kept saying, “I want to watch Minnie-rella”.
Below are two clips from the DVD for you to enjoy, as well as see why Emma looked so happy ! If you have a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fan in the house this would truly be a great gift; just in time for Valentine’s Day.(instead of candy, hint , hint.)
