Pixie Dust, Curiosity and Fairies: Pirate Fairy Review
Pixie Dust, Curiosity and Fairies: Pirate Fairy Review
While on our adventures in LA for the #PirateFairyBloggers / #FrozenBluray / #SavingMrBanksBloggers we were treated to a screening of the Pirate Fairy. This at the Disney Toon studios, (on site) where the people at Disney would screen it themselves. I have always loved the magic of Tinkerbelle, so I expected this movie to be even more fun with all of the extra fairies. I was not disappointed.
Most parents enjoy a child that is curious, thinks ‘out of the box’ and always wants to try to improve something one step further. This is what I thought of Zarina ( Christina Hendricks) when the movie first started. Zarina is inquisitive, to say the least and is always asking questions. Although this isn’t a bad thing, it proves to cause problems in Pixie Hollow. She loves fairy dust and wants to take it beyond its normal yellow color. She just knows if she can get her hands on some extra she can experiment by making different colors, which prove to give it more/different powers.
When Zarina finds that her ‘thinking out of the box’ has caused more issues than she expected, she flees Pixie Hollow. It is then she joins forces with a young man named James (voice of Tom Hiddleston), and his shipmates. If you watch and pay attention you may find that this movie is like a prequel and a sequel all wrapped into one.
Now how could you not love that face? Crocky is so sweet and his big eyes will win your heart right from the start. He just makes you want to hug him. You will enjoy his part in this movie.
I am not one that likes to do spoilers so that is all I want to give you, this way you will want to go out and purchase the movie on April 1st when it comes to a store near you.
