With Summer coming into full swing there will be Father’s Day, Graduation Parties, Summer picnics, family reunions; you get my point.  What if you could have a quick and easy side dish to take in a pinch? Or rather an awesome dish that you are asked to bring everytime?

My husband Rog has been making this dish for many years. We have done it on the stove, (which is the quickest way) but we have also made it in a slow cooker, if we had the extra time. The difference now, than in the past is, we will be using Original  KC Masterpiece Barbecue Sauce from now on. The flavor of the Original KC Masterpiece  sauce is so much more flavorful than ones we have used in the past and it has a thicker consistency.  This makes it an awesome choice for this dish.

We also used it for the pulled pork you see in the picture; which was also a big hit.  My husband is originally from Texas and we live in New York, as that is where I am from. (how we met is a different story or post). So when Rog came to New York, he wanted to make sure he shared some down home Texas BBQ ideas.
