Bridge of Spies Bridge Of Spies –On Blu-ray Today

When a movie has Tom Hanks, Alan Alda as actors and Steven Spielberg as a director you know that it is going to be a great movie.  With a series of historic events as a backdrop comes “The Bridge of Spies”.

This movie tells the story of a Brooklyn lawyer, James Donovan (played by Tom Hanks) finds himself thrust into the center of the Cold War.  He must go on a nearly impossible mission decided by the CIA.

He has to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot. The high stakes and suspense give way to a story inspired by true events that capture the backbone of a man who risked everything and distinctly brings his personal journey to life.

Not only did I enjoy this movie, but it was right up my husband’s alley.  He really enjoys any movie that has history woven within it, and this was one that did not disappoint. I would recommend yet another great hit from Disney!
